LandingPad Executive Integration Intelligence

Last updated: 21 July, 2026 · Effective from: 21 July, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice explains how LandingPad Executive Integration Intelligence (“LandingPad”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal data, and the rights you have over your information.

LandingPad provides executive integration services for corporate HR teams managing senior assignments into Hungary. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice.

Controller details

We have not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer (DPO), as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR. You can direct any data-protection question to the email above. (If you later appoint a DPO, add their contact details here.)

This notice is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and Hungary’s Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (the “Privacy Act”).

2. Who this notice applies to

This notice covers everyone whose personal data we may process, including:

  • Website visitors — people who browse www.expatlandingpad.com or contact us through it.

  • Business prospects and contacts — HR, People, Talent, and Global Mobility professionals (and other relevant decision-makers) at organisations we believe may benefit from our services, including where we obtained your business contact details from public or third-party sources rather than from you directly.

  • Clients and their representatives — HR sponsors and other contacts at organisations that engage us.

  • Assignees / executives and their family members — the senior employees (and, where relevant, accompanying partners or household members) who take part in an integration engagement.

  • Partners and suppliers — contacts at relocation firms, law firms, advisers, and vendors we work with.

  • Applicants — people who apply to work with or for us.

3. The personal data we collect

Depending on your relationship with us, we may process the following categories of personal data:

Identification and contact data — name, job title, employer, business email address, business phone number, professional social-media profile (e.g. LinkedIn), and business postal address.

Professional and engagement data — information relevant to an integration engagement, such as role and seniority, assignment details, organisational context, and notes from our sessions. Where an engagement involves an assignee and their family, this may include information about household composition and adaptation relevant to the assignment.

Communications data — the content and metadata of emails, messages, calls, and meetings between us.

Website and technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and similar information collected through cookies or analytics (see Section 9).

Marketing and preference data — your contact preferences and your responses to (or opt-outs from) our communications.

We try to avoid collecting special category data. Our work can touch on sensitive areas such as wellbeing and family adaptation. We do not seek to collect special category data (Article 9 GDPR — e.g. health, religion) unless it is strictly necessary, and where we do, we rely on your explicit consent or another lawful basis under Article 9. Please do not send us special category data unless we have asked for it.

4. Where we get your data (sources)

We obtain personal data:

  • Directly from you — when you contact us, fill in a form, exchange emails, sign up to receive information, or take part in an engagement.

  • From your organisation — when your employer engages us and provides contact or engagement details.

  • From public and third-party sources — for business prospecting, we may collect business contact details (such as name, job title, employer, and business email) from publicly available professional sources, company websites, professional networks, and reputable business-data providers (see Section 7). This applies to the “business prospects and contacts” group in Section 2.

Notice when we did not collect data from you directly (Article 14): If we hold your business contact details and you did not give them to us yourself, you are receiving — or can request — this notice so you know we hold your data, why, and what rights you have. We will provide this information within a reasonable period (at the latest within one month), or at the time of our first communication with you.

5. Why we use your data and our lawful basis

We only process personal data where we have a lawful basis under Article 6 GDPR. The table below sets out each purpose and the basis we rely on.

Purpose

Lawful basis

Responding to your enquiries and providing information you request

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)); or steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))

Business-to-business prospecting and outreach to relevant professionals

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — promoting our services to people whose professional role makes our services relevant

Sending marketing communications and newsletters

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where required, or legitimate interests for existing B2B contacts; you can opt out at any time

Delivering our services under an engagement

Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), or legitimate interests of the client organisation and ours

Managing relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers

Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))

Operating, securing, and improving our website

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)); consent for non-essential cookies (Art. 6(1)(a))

Complying with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))

Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))

Our legitimate interests. Where we rely on legitimate interests, our interest is in running and growing our business, reaching professionals for whom our services are genuinely relevant, and keeping our operations secure. We balance this against your rights and only proceed where our interest is not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (see Section 10), and for direct marketing we will always stop on request.

6. Marketing and your right to opt out

When we contact business prospects, our first message tells you why you are receiving it, that it is on a legitimate-interest basis, and how to opt out. You can object to marketing at any time — by replying “unsubscribe”, using any opt-out link, or emailing connect@expatlandingpad.com. Once you opt out we will stop and keep a minimal record of your objection so we do not contact you again.

7. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed and with appropriate safeguards:

  • Service providers (processors) acting on our behalf, which may include:

    • business-data and contact-enrichment providers (e.g. Lusha) used to identify and verify relevant business contacts;

    • email, CRM, and outreach tools;

    • website hosting and IT infrastructure;

    • analytics providers (if enabled — see Section 9);

    • professional advisers (accountants, lawyers).

  • Your own organisation, where relevant to an engagement.

  • Authorities, regulators, or courts, where we are legally required to disclose.

  • A successor entity, in the event of a business reorganisation, merger, or sale, subject to this notice.

We put a written data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR) in place with each processor, requiring them to protect personal data and act only on our instructions.

8. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as:

  • an European Commission adequacy decision for the destination country; or

  • the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs); and/or

  • the provider’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable.

You can ask us for details of the safeguards used for a specific transfer by contacting us at connect@expatlandingpad.com.

9. Cookies and website analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies that make the site work — these do not require consent.

  • Analytics and performance cookies that help us understand how the site is used — we use these only with your consent.

Where we use non-essential cookies, we present a cookie banner so you can accept or reject them, and you can change your choice at any time. For details of the specific cookies we use, see our [Cookie Policy / cookie banner settings].

10. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose we collected it for:

  • Prospect contact data — until you object/opt out, or until it is no longer relevant, reviewed periodically (typically no more than 24 months without meaningful contact).

  • Client and engagement records — for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as needed for our legitimate interests and legal claims (typically 2 years).

  • Accounting and tax records — for the period required by Hungarian law (generally 8 years).

  • Website/analytics data — for the retention period set in our analytics tools.

  • Marketing opt-outs — kept indefinitely (minimal data) so we can honour your objection.

When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

11. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights, which you can exercise free of charge:

  • Access — to know whether we hold your data and to receive a copy.

  • Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.

  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — to have your data deleted in certain circumstances.

  • Restriction — to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

  • Portability — to receive certain data in a machine-readable format, or have it transferred, where applicable.

  • Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and at any time to direct marketing.

  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out).

  • Not to be subject to automated decision-making — we do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.

To exercise any right, email us at connect@expatlandingpad.com. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within one month, which we may extend by up to two further months for complex requests (we will tell you if so).

12. Your right to complain

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority:

Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH) National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., Hungary Postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9. Phone: +36 (1) 391-1400 Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu Web: www.naih.hu

If you are based in another EEA country, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

13. How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep personal data secure, including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, and agreements with our processors. No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and to respond promptly to any incident, including notifying authorities and affected individuals where the law requires.

14. Is providing data required?

Providing your data is generally voluntary. However, if you ask us to provide a service or respond to an enquiry and do not give us the information we need, we may be unable to help. For an engagement, certain information may be necessary to deliver the service under our contract.

15. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
